Planning a wedding and the wedding ceremony itself is a stressful one. When I decided to settle down, I also decided to do the planning myself. With so little budget, I went for the most affordable yet quality wedding supplies, that included my wedding gown, invitations, souvenirs, wedding photos, reception and all that is about the wedding. I even thought of including wedding party linen rented tablecloths since I had a garden wedding. But thankfully, the venue for the wedding reception included tables, chairs, linens, etc so I saved a lot from that. With everything in my hands, I believe my wedding pulled through without much hassle and problems, oh, except that I ran out of video tape, lol!

So anyway, weddings are fun to organize, if I’d to marry my husband again, I would still plan it myself and make sure I have extra video tapes or CDs for our wedding video! :-) With all the wedding supplies and suppliers available on the Internet, I am pretty sure, everything will run smoothly and will be as memorable as our wedding ceremony nine years ago! :-)

I cleaned the closet today and I slowly took out some of our summer clothes that I know will no longer be worn in the coming days because it has been getting a little chilly outside. The mornings have become colder and my son goes to school with his sweater on already. So I guess it’s time to take out the clothes for Fall and Winter. And since I have somehow “organized” our closet, I’ve realized that we have so many clothes that some have not been worn at all. Most have been given to us and some I have bought, so anyway, since there is an overload of clothes in the closet, I decided to put those unused ones in a shopping bag and take them to the donation box.

I am quite a “hoarder” myself, I keep things that has a significant value to me, so it’s kind of hard to let go of some things that has been with me even for just a couple of months, so putting all those clothes and giving them away for others to take advantage of was, let’s say, a little difficult for me. But I had to, or else, we won’t have any space left in the closet. :-)

I am sure that there will be people who will be happy with what I have given, there were also several pairs of shoes so those who will get it will definitely be smiling from ear to ear. :-) Now, I have a closet still full of clothes, and yet, they are those that we really use.

One of my favorite shows is back, America’s Next Top Model Cycle 20.

*image from source

This cycle has extended its invitation to male model aspirants too. I’ve watched the premier episode and it was fun to watch boys and girls compete for the top 16 and reach their dreams. I really love watching America’s Next Top Model, I love how Tyra Banks help the contestants in the journey to achieving their goals and ambitions of becoming models. So far, the challenges have been tough and difficult for some of the contestants and there are a chosen few who have shone and rose to the challenges.

Tyra Banks also have branded this cycle as Fierce… if I am not mistaken and so far, the aspirants have been fierce in their battle to get to the finish line. To determine the winner or winners are in a certain challenge, scores from the judges and the social media will be added together. This is one is quite different from the previous cycle but I like it though as it is interactive.

Even if I get to see only the recorded episodes, I still feel very updated of this year’s cycle. I still have no one favorite as they are all talented and incredibly amazing. Okay, so before I miss the next episode, I’d better check out first on http://www.epoxyset.com/ because I need something to hold one part of my camera that has been detached during our camping.

We will have our camping this weekend and I am busy ironing and packing our backpacks. Since we were told that our rented trailer is fully furnished, we only have to bring clothes and food, extra towels and a blanket. So I listed down what clothes (and other stuff) to bring for our camping:

  1. Sweaters – it can get cold in the night (even with the camp fire on).
  2. Bathing suits – for me (even if I don’t have plans of going swimming), for hubby and the little boys
  3. Tops and tanks
  4. Extra shorts and or maybe a pair of pants (for hubby)
  5. Bedtime pajamas
  6. Undies for all of us
  7. Flip flops
  8. A pair of socks

So all these, I placed in my backpack, since we will be out for just three days and two nights, one backpack was enough to hold the clothes and one big bag for the towels, blanket and our sweaters. Some of the toiletries were in the backpack and the rest of the other stuff was just inside the big bag since it still had a lot of space.

I am ready… and a bit excited for our camping and hopefully, I did not forget anything. :-)

Everyone’s into selling these days, and online stores have been sprouting like mushrooms in the world wide web. Online shopping has become even more secured and has become a trend these days. I myself shop online for clothes and I have done it a lot of times, so I am thinking of setting up my own online store. I still don’t know what to sell, and I am still thinking of the most salable items or products nowadays. When I do start an online store, competition will be very stiff as there are big names and giant brands who have online stores and attract many customers. I could not match up to their level and if I do, I would need something to make that happen. Although I have the option to look into small business startup loans for a kick off, I still don’t know if I can really make it.

It is a very cutthroat competition and business so surviving it would definitely be a must and if I really do want to start an online store, I should get the right market for my products, and must have exceptional customer service and other perks to keep customers loyal. Now the BIG question remains, what should I sell? ;-)

I have recently purchased two items at Victoria Secret… and that was not even for me. It was a gift for my cousin who just celebrated her birthday.

I got her a VS Fantasies Classics Delicate Petals Fragrance Mist and an Off-the-Shoulder tunic with grey/white cabana stripes. Even though I am not sure if she will like it, but I am hoping that she will. It may not be equal to what she gave me for my birthday, but I guess it’s the thought that counts. I wanted to buy her a purse but I am not sure if she is a fan of such so I just decided to buy her stuff from VS.

I wanted to buy one for myself too so that I can get the free tote with my purchase but then I realized that she lives in the US and that shipping to Canada will make my total reach to the ceiling, so I decided not to buy things for me, even though I really wanted to buy the swim wear that was on sale. Oh well, maybe next time or probably I’ll visit the VS store the next time I am at the mall, that way I can save the shipping fees.

Are you into fashion? Do you wish to have a shop that sells stylish clothes? Well, running a business that you are passionate about can be truly fulfilling. However, travelling the road that leads to success can be tough. You do not want your passion to be a burden so you have to do a thorough research first and create a strong business plan.

It would also be best to work with an accountant who can explain to you the ins and outs of your business. If your house is located in North Carolina, you can ask an advice about accounting in raleigh nc. Many people now opt for online shopping, so it would also be a good strategy to advertise your chic products on the web to attract more customers.

Always remember not to jump in with both feet; various things have to be taken into account to avoid failures in the future.

I have finally used the Old Navy gift card worth $50. Hubby, me and the little boys were at the one of malls here and I made sure that we visit the Old Navy store and use the card to purchase items. So hubby let me do the shopping, of course, and he was left to look after the boys… hehehe… ;-)

Since the card’s worth was only $50, I went to the clearance sections for women, men and kids. I went through all the items that were hanged and found several pieces to my liking. So what did I purchase? For my eldest, I got him a hoodie (for school opening in Fall), for the little boy, I got him a sweater. For hubby, I got him two sweaters and some swim shorts, and for me, I just got myself a tank top which I plan to use as a coverall when we head to the Niagara region next month for our camping, and a pair of flip-flops. My purchase left me about $2 in the card. It wasn’t really that a haul, but I am still able to save. I made sure that my boys had something to keep them warm during the cold months which will be just a few weeks away.

I still have a GAP gift card, so hopefully, the next time we go to the mall, I will be able to use it.

A living room is an area in a house where family members chill out and entertain visitors.  It is very important to keep it presentable, clean and tidy.  If you think your lounge looks out dated or uncomfortable, you should not fret. There are various options that you can do to perk it up.

You can liven up your wall by painting it with your preferred design and color or by putting art pieces. You can also put in your living room some ornamental plants to make the indoor air cleaner, new furniture and trendy throw pillows to give  the room a new look, or ceramic vases to add elegance and style. If you do not want to spend a small fortune, you can order directly from ceramics manufacturer to get big discounts.

Sprucing up your front room is not a simple task so you better plan it out carefully.

Do you want to be a permanent resident in the US? Well, preparation is the best way to realize that goal.  If you are residing in Southern California, you can consult experienced immigration lawyers in los angeles.  They will provide legal advice, help you accomplish your documents and secure your green card. You should also make yourself ready for the nerve-racking immigration interview process.

When meeting the immigration officer, you must dress professionally. Choose conservative, well-ironed outfits and comfortable business shoes. Do not wear tight ripped jeans, flowing brightly-colored skirts or shirts with unpleasant pictures. Avoid applying heavy perfumes. Putting on too much make-up is also a big no-no.

You want to present a positive image of yourself during the interview so remember to select your outfit carefully.
